The Republican Jewish Coalition 2012 Presidential Candidates Forum was held on Tuesday in Washington, DC. On tonight's Daily Show, Jon Stewart described the forum as a holiday celebrating "the miracle of incredibly Christian presidential candidates fighting over who loves Jews more" before ranking each one based on how muchand how shamelesslythey managed to suck up to Israel.

The campaign said Friday it has just $327,000 on hand and $890,000 in debt. It listed its total receipts - including a $2.25 million donation from Huntsman himself - at $4.51 million, and its total dispersments at $4.18 million. Huntsman campaign manager Tim Miller said Huntsman will have the money he needs to stay in the race until the New Hampshire primary, which will likely take place in early January. "Governor Huntsman has... |
Jon Stewart disappointed Obama not more of a dictator

Over in Rolling Stone, Jon Stewart, "the Walter Cronkite of this generation," frets that the president hasn't done more to circumvent the Constitution's separation of powers: Im surprised at how much he deferred to the legislative process. Hes accomplished some things, and Im sure hes pleased with what hes done, but I would have preferred to see something a little bit more transformative. Stewart is in his mid-forties and obviously steeped in pop culture. He must have seen the "How a Bill Becomes Law" episode of "Schoolhouse Rock" a couple of hundred of times by now. I can only assume...

The left was so excited after Jon Stewarts appearance on Fox News last Sunday. But the victory was short lived. First, Jon was fact-checked by Politifact. Chris Wallace pointed it out here. But there was another claim Stewart made in the interview which also fell apart this week. Heres Stewart defending the NY Times:
Jon Stewart Angrily Tells Chris Wallace: Fox News Has the Most Misinformed Viewers

Jon Stewart appeared in his first Sunday morning news show interview ever with Chris Wallace, and unlike his often entertaining and jovial encounters with Fox News Bill OReilly, this confrontation was a bit more heated. Wallace opened the segment suggesting to Stewart you love to take shots at Fox News and from there Wallace was determined to get Stewart to admit that the mainstream media has a liberal bias. Yet Stewart refused to believe that anyone in the media is as relentlessly activist as Fox News.Stewart maintained that besides possibly MSNBC, no media organization is in any way close to

Were five months removed from Comedy Central host Jon Stewarts Rally to Restore Sanity, but with an upcoming appearance for Special Report host Bret Baier on The Daily Show, Fox News Channels Charles Krauthammer had a suggestion for his colleague. On the FoxNews.com airing of Special Report Online from Wednesday night, Krauthammer wanted Baier to point out that Stewarts October 2010 rally in Washington, D.C. had unseated conservative rallies of that nature in terms a lack of racial diversity. You know whenever theres a gathering of Republicans or conservatives, the press always makes a point of saying how white the...
Jon Stewart tells Salman Rushdie hes fine with showcasing Muslim singer who supported calls

Jon Stewart raised a lot of eyebrows over the weekend when the Rally to Restore Sanity showcased Yusef Islam, a.k.a. Cat Stevens. Islam has over the years said a lot of radical things including a number of comments where he essentially endorsed the infamous fatwa against Booker-Prize-Winning novelist Salman Rushdie. Islam has since tried to backpedal, but its hard to disguise his radicalism. (Snip) I spoke to Jon Stewart about Yusuf Islams appearance. He said he was sorry it upset me, but really, it was plain that he was fine with it. Depressing.
Jon Stewart points finger at media

Jon Stewart has met the enemy, and it's the media. The Comedy Central comedian and "Daily Show" host walked a fine line between politics and humor Saturday as he gathered tens of thousands on the National Mall for his "Rally to Restore Sanity." Expectations for what Stewart had dubbed his "million moderate march" ranged from the hope of left-leaning groups that the rally would spark the youth vote ahead of Tuesday's midterm elections to the desire for many attendees to enjoy an afternoon of pointed satire inspired by Fox News' Glenn Beck's massive rally two months ago to "restore honor."...

Charges from the Scranton medical community of intimidation by the Obama White House and its allies are filling the air. All of this just as Vice President Joe Biden arrives in Scranton today to raise money for one of the participants. |

"Jon & Kate Plus 8" will be on hiatus until August, the L.A. Times has just reported. Thank God! Was anyone else bored to tears watching the repetitive and monotonous statements about their divorce made by Jon and Kate Gosselin on last night's show? Kate tried to come off as being sad, vulnerable, suffering, but still strong, and Jon pretended that he was finally doing the manly thing by standing up to his harpy wife. Both of them kept repeating how much they were thinking about their kids, even divorcing for their kids. Really? Because if they had been thinking...

After a hundred days of Barack Hussein Obama's presidency, sadly we are finding out the meaning of Obama's slogan "Change We Can Believe In," followed by the mantra, "Yes. We. Can." We now know the meaning of these slick words. In just three and a half months, we've seen Obama yank our country hard to the left so far to the left, in fact, that we're fast becoming a socialist nation, along with everything that it implies. Obama's background Obama is the son of an African Marxist intellectual who corresponded with him throughout his college years. He was a...

Does anyone have a link to the video that was shown 25 minutes ago on FoxNews? This was the video intended to introduce Sarah to the country last night but they ran out of time due to the many speakers before her. It was FANTASTIC. Besides all the great images and insights provided of this LADY and her family, I was pleased to see her oldest son with his Cubs hat -- an obvious fan. Why isn't this up on You Tube yet? Jon Voight did the voice-over and it was fantastic.

http://www.radaronline.com/features/2007/04/jon_voight_1.php Was the Iraq war part of the war on terror before we got there? I'm interested in talking about this, but it's been so politicized, it's very disturbing, very dangerous. My view of it is this: they say our president lied to us. Well, he didn't lie to us, everybody else had the information he had, and they voted for that tactic. And the idea of weapons of mass destruction, whether they were in fact removed to other places, to Lebanon, to Syria, that's still in play, we don't know the full answer of where all that stuff went,...

More Nevadans know Jack Carter today than four months ago, but the president's son turned Democratic Senate candidate is still far from giving the Republican incumbent a competitive run. According to a new Review-Journal poll, if the general election were held today, Sen. John Ensign would attract 54 percent of the state's votes. Almost a quarter, 23 percent, of Democrats would vote for him, as would half of Clark County, a Democratic stronghold. Thirty-three percent of voters statewide said they'd vote for Carter, and 13 percent were undecided. "We've got work to do, but I'm pleased with the direction it's...

Those familiar with Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" - featuring comedian Jon Stewart - will no doubt be familiar with the show's bias against Operation Iraqi Freedom and the efforts of the Bush Administration to combat Islamic terrorism in the Middle East. But even Stewart and company couldn't deny the progress being made in northern Iraq. The 3 Iraqi provinces that make up Iraqi Kurdistan have built a peaceful democracy modeled after Western nations. Not one single Coalition soldier has been killed in Iraqi Kurdistan. No westerners have been kidnapped. And just this past week, Iraqi Kurdistan's regional government passed...

Let's face it, our elected officials don't have a clue about how to reduce illegal immigration. After President Bush proposed a guest worker program in January 2004, he repeatedly has said, illegal border crossing must stop. He now says he is looking for an overall strategy to curb illegal immigration. Congress can't agree on what to do about illegal immigration. McCain, Kolbe, Flake and Ted Kennedy, want a guest worker program and also want to allow some undocumented immigrants to become legal residents, but they insist that is not an amnesty. Senator Jon Kyl wants illegal immigrants to go home,...

In his final public statement before the secret election begins Monday, Cardinal Ouellet reminded Roman Catholics that the conclave was supposed to be above the crass politics of the secular world. The choice the cardinals are making is not a political act based on some human calculation, Cardinal Ouellet told parishioners at the Holy Mary in Transpontina church near St. Peter's Square. It's an act of faith, and profound... |
